About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our fitness club operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional member experience and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of employees in a positive and motivating manner, providing continuous assistance in employee training and development.
  • Manage day-to-day club operations, including creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Provide leadership within a team to set and achieve club goals, including recruiting, onboarding, and training high-performing employees.
  • Delegate responsibilities to club staff and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Track club and employee statistics and reports, and administer and process all employee payroll.
  • Coach and counsel team members through disciplinary processes, up to termination.
  • Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience supervising and leading a team.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by the company).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Will occasionally encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.
