Job Summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our communities, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Oversee the management of our residential properties, including leasing, maintenance, and customer service.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of quality and safety standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Marketing and Leasing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and lease properties, including creating marketing materials and conducting tours.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, respond to resident concerns, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all properties are maintained in a clean and safe condition, and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in property management, preferably with experience in multi-family residential property management.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, 2+ years of college preferred.
  • Certifications: Accredited Resident Manager or similar designation preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
Working Conditions

The Community Manager will work primarily in an office environment, but will also be required to meet with residents, show properties, and walk around to inspect properties. Evening and weekend work may be required, as well as on-call response to emergency or maintenance situations.
