Job Title: Inpatient Coder

At Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Inpatient Coder to join our team. As an Inpatient Coder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient data.

Job Summary:

The Inpatient Coder will be responsible for assigning and sequencing codes for inpatient services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign and sequence codes for inpatient services
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete patient data
  • Develop and maintain coding policies and procedures
  • Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Current California RN License
  • Certified as a perioperative nurse (CNOR)
  • Completion of an RNFA course, including the completion of the required internship hours
  • Proficient in perioperative nursing practice as both scrub and circulating nurse with diversified operating room experience
  • Current ACLS and CPR Provider certifications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with people on all levels and able to maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and co-workers inter- and intra-departmentally
  • Possesses active listening skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of current nursing theory and practice
  • Compassionate, nonjudgmental patient caregiver and advocate
  • Must be able to tolerate physically and mentally demanding work
  • Possesses audible acuity necessary for taking blood pressures and maintaining patient safety
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $89.87
  • Up to $25,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN
  • Monday - Friday schedule with call required as assigned
