Position: Part-Time Escrow Assistant
Work Hours: 30 Hours per Week
Compensation: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM, subject to change based on workload
Work Environment: Fully Onsite – This role requires in-office presence five days a week.
Role Summary:
- Provide essential support to the escrow department, focusing on customer service and administrative tasks related to closing transactions.
- Collaborate with an escrow officer or assist a team, primarily handling residential deals.
- Intermediate roles necessitate a solid grasp of functional responsibilities, with assistance from senior team members as needed.
- Conduct a variety of administrative tasks to facilitate the escrow process, including opening orders and preparing closing documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding requirements and transaction details.
- Interpret agreements related to closings and prepare necessary documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational capabilities
- Attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and positive service attitude
- Familiarity with company or client operating systems
- Open to candidates with less than 2 years of experience in escrow
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
Working Conditions:
- Occasional exposure to loud sounds and distractions from office equipment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent use of computers and technology
