About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Financial Sponsors team. As a key member of our Corporate Banking division, you will be responsible for originating and managing relationships with a portfolio of Sponsor Clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate new business opportunities and grow the franchise by leveraging our bank's competitive attributes, such as our global network and transaction banking capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at our Sponsor Clients, providing strategic advice and guidance to help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Work closely with our Credit, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure that our clients' needs are met while maintaining a strong risk management framework.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion in our clients' portfolios.
  • Represent Standard Chartered at the highest levels within our region and internationally, promoting our bank's values and reputation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking or Finance, with an MBA from a leading accredited university preferred.
  • FINRA registration(s): Securities Industry Essentials, Series 79, and Series 63.
  • Strong account management, cross-selling, and financial risk management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of customers, products, and industries.
  • Ability to prospect and sell effectively, with a strong focus on client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected annual base pay range for this role is $256,000 to $320,000. The final offer will be determined on an individualized basis, taking into account factors such as skill set, experience, education, and internal relativity.
