Banquet Houseperson

At Crescent Hotels and Resorts, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down meeting rooms to the specifications of our guests, including transporting heavy materials and equipment.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
- Maintain established cleaning schedules to ensure meeting rooms and ballrooms remain presentable at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless event execution.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including tables, chairs, and podiums.
- Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in meeting rooms.
Performance Standards:
- Customer Satisfaction: Provide positive interactions with guests and colleagues, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Work Habits: Maintain a positive and professional attitude, adhering to hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance.
- Safety & Security: Adhere to hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, and reporting safety hazards.
