Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for setting up, breaking down, and servicing meeting rooms to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up meeting rooms to the specifications of guests, including transporting heavy materials and equipment.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
- Break down meeting rooms after events and return equipment to storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hotel standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless event execution.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in meeting rooms.
- Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions.
- Work Habits: Adhere to hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance.
- Safety & Security: Adhere to hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
