Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Seasonal Costumed Character Performer to join our team at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. As a key member of our entertainment team, you will be responsible for leading and performing in character-themed shows, engaging with audiences, and creating a fun and memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform in character-themed shows, using improvisation and creativity to engage audiences
  • Encourage and recruit guests to participate in various activities, promoting a fun and energized atmosphere
  • Provide information and tours of our recreation facilities and activities, ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience
  • Host live events and activities, explaining rules and regulations to ensure guest safety and welfare
  • Respond to emergencies and observe activity in the facility, taking appropriate action as needed
  • Prepare for shows, clean and maintain equipment, and ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of customer or sales experience, with previous public performance, acting, and entertainment experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform in character costume for extended periods, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
