Job Title: Inventory Control Lead

Job Summary:

Cenmed Enterprises Inc. is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Lead to join our team. As an Inventory Control Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory counts and reconciling inventory variances, expiry tracking, return track, and short/over picks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the implementation of inventory control procedures for bulk inventory and raw materials.
  • Develop and standardize processes to improve inventory accuracy and minimize inventory shrinkage.
  • Oversee inventory audits to ensure alignment with quarterly targets.
  • Develop processes to incorporate inventory consolidation and replenishment functions to optimize locations and increase warehouse capacity.
  • Overhaul Cenmed existing inventory structure.
  • Complete weekly cycle counts.
  • Executes bi-monthly inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies.
  • Coordinates with warehouse associates on inventory verification during picking process.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and integrity, conduct regular cycle and spot counts, along with addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Accurately records any adjustments in the ERP system and keeps a record.
  • Manages cycle counting process and expiry tracking.
  • Leads full inventory at the corporate location semi-annually.
  • Manage the put-away of inventory from the receiving team.
  • Manage the full return process for all Cenmed clients.
  • Remove expired products promptly to maintain inventory integrity and compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections of received goods to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inventory control.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate inventory processes for adherence to quality standards and recommend improvements as necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of expiration dates and monitor inventory for timely removal of products nearing expiration.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years inventory control experience in wholesale/retail distribution or equivalent or in a regulated environment (medical, pharmaceutical, or laboratory supply).
  • Understanding of warehousing and inventory management processes.
  • General understanding of cGMP/FDA regulated industry.
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents.
  • Excellent number skills and analytical mindset.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
