Role Objective:
The core function of this role is to oversee production timelines utilizing the ERP system INFOR, ensuring seamless coordination of manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties:
- Assess and formulate production timelines based on client orders and manufacturing capabilities.
- Collaborate with various teams to synchronize sales demands with production lead times.
- Organize production tasks across multiple workstations using ERP solutions.
- Modify schedules as necessary to address urgent orders, material shortages, and other interruptions.
- Engage with design and fabrication teams to fulfill production needs.
- Work alongside production personnel to enhance manufacturing schedules.
- Evaluate capacity planning in relation to sales order releases and escalate concerns as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and established protocols.
- Execute additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Strong time management skills.
Work Environment:
Physical Requirements:
Activities: Sitting – 70%, Walking/Standing – 30%
Lifting: Frequently up to 30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
May require bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing.
Visual acuity for extended computer use and detailed tasks.
