Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to work with our interdisciplinary team to provide skilled education, treatment, and interventions to patients in their homes. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients with various conditions and needs.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in their homes, as directed by the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
- Communicate with patients and caregivers to provide updates on the plan of care and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Provide skilled teaching to patients and caregivers on the safe use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care and develop a comprehensive plan of care.
- Participate in in-service programs to stay up-to-date on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.
- Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant education program from an accredited university/program.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
- Valid CPR certification.
