We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at SparkCognition. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the Renewable Energy industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute long-term consultative sales strategies to win new logos and grow a pipeline to meet business revenue plans for Asset Performance Management (APM) software solutions.
- Assist in the development of project scope and ROI analysis, utilizing value selling techniques to quantify project ROI and structure commercial deals accordingly.
- Continuously maintain and grow skills and knowledge in consultative sales, technical solutions, and industry applications.
- Apply expertise to demonstrate thought leadership during client engagements to solve strategic and tactical business problems with our proven technology solutions.
- Collaborate with our sales, technical, executive, product development, financial, and other support resources to deliver extraordinary client engagements and repeat business opportunities.
- Leverage sales & marketing selling resources for target opportunity identification and access.
- Effectively translate technical terms into everyday language and properly manage expectations, both internally and externally.
- Provide formal regular status reports to sales management to include forecast, pipeline, and activity summary information.
- Monitor and report revenue and pipeline results weekly via Salesforce.
- Develop strong business and financial knowledge of our offerings.
- Use your strong understanding of APM and other emerging technology trends and their impact on business decisions within Renewable Energy and clearly communicate this knowledge to the extended sales team.
- 7-10+ years of work experience of demonstrated sales success and/or work experience in AI/ML SaaS software solutions is required.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, etc.)
- Reneable Energy (wind, solar, BESS) industry experience.
- The demonstrated ability to open new markets and penetrate whitespace accounts.
- The demonstrated ability to sell at the senior management & executive levels, focusing on the business outcomes and demonstrating the tangible economic value of products, information software & services.
