Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Embraer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of aircraft systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and oversee a team of maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
    • Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine and special maintenance inspections to prevent failures of aircraft mechanical systems and components.
    • Conduct complete operations checks on hydraulics systems, plumbing, precision assemblies, rigging, and controls.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets prescribed standards and tolerances.
    • Perform rework as necessary and ensure that repaired components meet quality standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Complete work package documentation, including signing and stamping off after finishing all designated operations.
    • Submit completed work to the Project Manager for review and approval.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • A&P License required.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role preferred.
    • Journeyman Technician Role requiring Intermediate Skills to perform most of the standard tasks within the technical area assigned to.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in at least one aircraft type.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical data and work package instructions.
    • Proficiency with power and pneumatic hand tools.
    • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Working Conditions
    • Ability to work in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
    • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.
    • Valid Driver's License required.
