Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven individual to fill the role of Financial Reporting Analyst. This position is crucial for overseeing the financial reporting framework within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), be proficient in accounting software, and demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing the efficiency of our financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of the Company's consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Manage the XBRL filing requirements and ensure accurate submissions.
- Collaborate with internal and external SEC counsel to guarantee timely compliance with all SEC reporting obligations.
- Assist in the development and filing of the Annual Proxy Statement.
- Lead the creation and review of essential disclosures, registration statements, and earnings releases.
- Actively participate in the Company's Disclosure Committee, preparing and presenting relevant materials.
- Establish and document internal controls for financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance.
- Support the annual audit and quarterly review processes with external auditors.
- Maintain the SEC reporting calendar, coordinating timelines and deliverables.
- Identify and document accounting and disclosure-related issues.
- Coordinate all aspects of SEC reporting, including data collection and document preparation.
- Conduct research on technical accounting matters and prepare position memos.
- Lead the internal control documentation process related to financial reporting.
- Implement new accounting standards and drive continuous improvements in reporting processes.
- Collaborate with global teams to gather inputs and maintain project status updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis.
- Experience with financial systems and familiarity with ERP and reporting tools.
- Technical expertise in GAAP, SEC reporting, and related accounting areas.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a keen interest in technology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
