About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in a dynamic and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
    • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient histories to identify potential health issues.
    • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Treatment and Management:
    • Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
    • Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
    • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
    • Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
    • Participate in case management and discharge planning activities to ensure seamless transitions in care.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nursing and healthcare.
  • Professional Development:
    • Engage in continuous professional development through education, research, and participation in professional organizations.
    • Mentor and educate nursing staff and students to promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
    • Current Nurse Practitioner certification in specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics).
  • Licensure:
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of [5] years of clinical nursing experience, with at least [5] years as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
    • Experience in Telemedicine is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Telemedicine experience.
    • Marketing strategies development experience.
    • Building of practice, through seeking and establishment of relationships with other providers/clinics.
    • Engaging, focused driven, goal oriented mindset.
