Job Description:

At the Department of Homeland Security, we are seeking an exceptional Supervisory Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will oversee the clinical operations and provide leadership to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) at various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a direct supervisor and rater to federal APPs, including Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
  • Provide leadership and oversight in onboarding, training, and professional development for APPs.
  • Promote high-quality patient care and adherence to standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors and other senior leaders to develop and implement clinical strategies.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • National board certification through NCCPA or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of full-time clinical experience as a PA or NP.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with a track record of successful team management.
