Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care to new mothers and their babies in a supportive and teamwork-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered nursing care to mothers following delivery, educating them on post-delivery expectations and potential complications.
  • Care for newborns, participating in family education and preparing new mothers for infant care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients and families, including obstetricians, perinatologists, lactation consultants, and patient care staff.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
  • 1 year of nursing experience in acute care hospital settings.
  • Preferred: 1 year of maternal-infant nursing experience.
