Responsibilities:
  • Analyze Project Plans and Specifications: Meticulously review blueprints and technical documents to fully understand project requirements.
  • Develop Precise Material and Labor Estimates: Accurately quantify the materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project phase.
  • Create Comprehensive Cost Projections: Compile detailed cost estimates that encompass all aspects of the project, ensuring financial feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to gather information and ensure alignment on project costs.
  • Manage Request for Information (RFIs) and Submittals: Promptly respond to RFIs and oversee the submission process for project documentation.
  • Attend Pre-Bid Meetings and Site Visits: Participate in meetings to discuss project scope, clarify requirements, and assess potential challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in estimating.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with takeoff software is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
