Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Duke Health. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, decontamination, and sterilization of all reusable medical instrumentation.

About the Role
  • Clean and decontaminate scope trays and equipment following established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of instrument counts and special handling instructions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies.
  • Promote quality patient care by adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification as CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA) preferred.
Salary

$52,000 - $62,000 per year, based on experience.
