Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide professional and caring service to patients, families, and visitors, ensuring a positive experience in our office.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, obtain authorization and pre-certification, and document referrals and no-shows.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including filing, scanning, and retrieving documents as needed.
- Financial Transactions: Register patients, collect payments, post charges, and provide receipts, ensuring accurate financial transactions and cash reconciliation.
- Supply Management: Order and maintain inventory of supplies and forms, ensuring a well-stocked office environment.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a professional and respectful manner.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2 years minimum medical experience, with preference for clerical experience in a physician's office and EPIC experience.
- Skills: Computer/typing skills required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and EPIC.
