Job Title: Materials Return Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Return Coordinator to join our Quality department at ETC. This role is responsible for processing materials that have been returned from the field or from customers that are in need of rework, restocking, repair, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify parts being returned are what are indicated on the return order and in the condition stated.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of discrepancies.
  • Process deliveries in the ERP system.
  • Update and add any necessary information in return orders and notifications.
  • Create deliveries and process them.
  • Send parts that are DOA and product failures to the appropriate areas.
  • Create rework production orders when necessary.
  • Create routing, determining the area for the unit to be sent to.
  • Create BOMs.
  • Setup to print the correct documents.
  • Maintain any needed changes in rework orders.
  • Work with the shop floor to ensure an easy flow of the product.
  • Purchased items returned.
  • Verify all parts are with the unit.
  • Work with Service to ensure the status of the part.
  • Monitor the 1060 return status storage location to ensure material is cleared constantly.
  • Inventory management.
  • Assist with cycle count processes in SLOC 1008.
  • Assist Quality Inspectors as needed.
  • Perform incoming inspections.
  • Process NCMRs and coordinate MRBs.
  • Investigate, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
  • Investigate and process quality notifications.
  • Participate in pilot runs and reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 2 years of previous work experience in an ERP system doing multiple data entry tasks or 2 years of previous work experience in an inventory-related job dealing with returns of product or 2 years of knowledge of ETC parts and products.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions.
  • Self-motivated and works with minimal supervision.
  • Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Requires knowledge of computer software: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and an ERP system.
  • Requires strong organization skills and can multitask.
  • Good customer service skills; must be able to interact with many departments.
  • Must speak and write fluent English.
  • Able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
