Job Description

The Showroom Operations Assistant position at Havertys is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic retail team. As a key member of our showroom operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth flow of merchandise through our showrooms, supporting the movement of goods, and contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

This role comes with a salary range of $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in receiving and processing new merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient delivery to the sales floor.
  • Support the movement of merchandise around the showroom, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Help maintain a tidy and organized showroom area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and visual appeal.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 150 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
