About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis functions, developing and implementing financial strategies to support our growth objectives, and ensuring the company's financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analyses
  • Manage the company's financial planning and analysis functions
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Oversee cash flow management, investment activities, and capital structure decisions
  • Monitor and manage the company's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including market risks, credit risks, and operational risks
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and risk management within the construction or utilities sector
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and financial instruments
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
