As a Principal Mechanical Systems Engineer at Freeform, you will spearhead mechanical design initiatives and expedite hardware development. Your proficiency in architecting and designing intricate mechanical systems will be pivotal to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee hardware development from initial concept through to production
- Design and evaluate complex mechanical components and systems
- Perform tolerance analysis and conduct performance evaluations
- Execute continuous improvement strategies for system optimization
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems design
- Proficiency in CAD with GD&T and detailed drawing documentation
- Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems design
- Advanced degree in mechanical engineering
- Familiarity with motion control and kinematics

Compensation:
