Mechanical Systems Engineer

Hire Resolve is working with a reputable MEP company that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing mechanical systems for building projects, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Conducting calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure the efficiency, safety, and functionality of mechanical systems.
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and other engineering documentation.
- Working closely with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to coordinate the design and implementation of mechanical systems.
- Performing site visits and inspections to verify the installation and functionality of mechanical systems.
- Providing guidance and support during the construction, commissioning, and handover phases of projects.
- Keeping abreast of industry advancements, codes, and regulations related to mechanical engineering and the MEP industry.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and practices within the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in the MEP industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building regulations.
- Professional engineering license or working towards obtaining licensure is a plus.
