As the first point of contact at all Barry's studios, Front Desk team members play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:

  • Client Experience: Demonstrate understanding of hospitality principles and execute them as part of the Barry's Client Experience.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients and staff.
  • Effective Communication: Provide timely information to supervisors and colleagues through various communication methods.
  • Client Engagement: Ensure a first-class client experience by greeting, assisting, and checking in clients, as well as responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Studio Maintenance: Contribute to a clean and inviting atmosphere by assisting with studio cleaning and upkeep.
  • Promotional Guidance: Inform clients about the latest studio promotions, membership discounts, and special events.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all studio retail operations.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts.

Fuel Bar Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality protein smoothies and exceptional service at the Fuel Bar.
  • Assist clients with their orders, ensuring customization to meet individual needs.
  • Process client orders efficiently using a POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the Fuel Bar area.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations.
  • Rotate merchandise appropriately to ensure freshness.
  • Prepare fuel bar items according to company recipes.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work a part-time schedule of at least 2 days per week.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Physical capability to sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and responsiveness to workplace challenges.
  • Team-oriented mindset.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Availability for three to five shifts, including weekends.
  • Friendly and outgoing demeanor with a passion for social interaction.
  • Enthusiasm for the studio and the role.
  • Ability to listen patiently and empathetically to clients.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds.

Barry's is the Best Workout in the World TM. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it is the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity workout that is both effective and enjoyable. Our fitness classes alternate between weight training and treadmill running, focusing on different muscle groups each day to achieve real results while preventing injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscles and maximize fat loss, boosting metabolism for up to 48 hours post-class.
