Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and organized administrative professionals to join our team at UC San Diego. As an administrative professional, you will provide exceptional support to our faculty, staff, and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to faculty, staff, and students, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate and plan events, meetings, and conferences, including arranging logistics and catering.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a higher education or administrative setting.
  • Knowledge of UC San Diego's policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
