POSITION SUMMARY:
The Client Accounting Services Manager is instrumental in overseeing and directing the accounting services delivered to our clients at Anchin. This role demands a seasoned professional with a robust accounting background, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a client-centric mindset. The individual will ensure the precision, efficiency, and promptness of accounting operations while fostering strong client relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients.
- Lead, supervise, and inspire a team of accountants at various levels.
- Deliver controllership and financial reporting services to clients.
- Identify and address client concerns while managing daily client interactions.
- Support and mentor staff in their daily tasks.
- Assist in the development and delivery of relevant training sessions for Client Accounting Services personnel.
- Supervise the month-end closing procedures for clients.
- Review and assess monthly financial statements and reporting packages prepared by CAS staff.
- Maintain ongoing communication with CAS clients and engage in regular conference calls regarding their operational and financial performance.
- Collaborate with Directors and Partners on significant client accounting and reporting issues.
- Provide clients with valuable financial analysis and ongoing feedback for process improvement.
- Propose recommendations to enhance efficiencies, reduce expenses, and boost profitability for clients.
- Deliver exceptional and proactive professional services to clients.
- Advise on policies and procedures aimed at enhancing client service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation is advantageous.
Experience:
- Over 6 years of experience in client accounting services, particularly in consumer products, professional services, and real estate sectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and cultivate a high-performing team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Yardi, and Expensify is preferred.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
