Solar Sales Representative

The Role
This position involves self-generating sales leads and presenting in-home presentations on our solar products and services for potential customers. The priority is to make genuine human connections with customers, qualifying and vetting solar as a viable energy solution for their homes and families.
Responsibilities
* Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers
* Provide exceptional customer sales experiences from initial contact through installation and beyond
* Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate their knowledge and needs, building long-lasting relationships
* Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations
* Accurately report outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
* Meet minimum required sales targets set by sales leadership
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred
* Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills needed to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs
* Willingness to spend time traveling within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model
* Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications
