Key Responsibilities
  • Modeling Company Culture: Demonstrate a warm and approachable disposition to each patient, consistently providing a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and creating Patients for Life (PFL).
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments that result in each healthcare provider having a smooth, productive day.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time, answer telephones in a timely manner, and handle all calls with efficiency and thoroughness.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure that all tasks on the front office checklist are completed daily, post payments to patient accounts in accordance with Company policies, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Be proficient in practice management systems, patient registration, e-check in, and ensure account information is accurate and up to date for each visit.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and any other meetings as required, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of business imperatives and how the role directly impacts metrics.
  • Professional Development: Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies, address others professionally and respectfully, and ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, insurance, or business
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances, results-oriented, patient advocate, process-focused operator, financial acumen, influencer, and self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
