Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate and advocate for Vituity's mission, vision, values, and strategic goals, ensuring alignment across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to all Vituity policies and communicate these standards to all medical staff.
  • Analyze current and emerging healthcare trends to evaluate their implications for practice and the surrounding community.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual management plan with clear objectives to exceed expectations and deliver value.
  • Lead the administrative management team, selecting members carefully and aligning their roles to achieve practice objectives.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of Vituity policies and fiduciary responsibilities, ensuring compliance among all providers.
  • Promote open communication and transparent decision-making, including regular reviews of administrative roles and scheduling preferences.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital expectations and contract terms.
  • Track operational and quality metrics, implementing initiatives to enhance performance continuously.
  • Evaluate and refine operational processes, utilizing technology and best practices to improve efficiency.
  • Assess financial performance and identify opportunities for growth and revenue enhancement.
  • Gain expertise in budgeting, financial performance metrics, and billing systems.
  • Enhance patient volume and billing statistics to optimize practice reimbursement.
  • Engage with payers, including IPAs and medical groups, to maintain beneficial relationships.
  • Streamline recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new providers to ensure a highly qualified team.
  • Offer professional development and mentorship to enhance clinical skills and leadership capabilities among staff.
  • Evaluate physician and CRNA performance in accordance with Vituity guidelines.
  • Monitor physician competencies and implement improvement plans as necessary.
  • Participate in contract negotiations alongside the Regional Director.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with hospital leadership and healthcare teams.
  • Ensure representation of the practice's value through active participation in relevant committees and community engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution with completed residency training.
  • Must hold membership and privileges on the hospital's medical staff and comply with all relevant bylaws and regulations.
  • Physician Partnership status is required.
  • A minimum of five years in a leadership capacity is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional clinical and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and locations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of financial principles.
