We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their physical function.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to establish treatment plans and home programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
- Administer patient treatment plans involving application of physical therapy techniques and modalities as indicated, monitoring response and progress to update and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Instruct patients and family members/caregivers in physical therapy procedures and self-care techniques, directing care provided by physical therapy assistants.
- Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding treatments, progress, patient needs, and outcomes.
- Participate in self and others' education, training, and development, as applicable.
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy as of 8/12.
- Active and clear NYS PT license or temporary permit following NYS Practice Act guidelines.
- BLS (current or scheduled).
- Preferred: DPT, or PhD P.T., minimum of 1 year of post-licensure practice as a Physical Therapist.

Physical RequirementsM - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
Pay Range$39.00 - $52.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
