Job Overview:
The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various operational activities within the manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and managing all shop activities, including production and inspection timelines.
- Procurement of necessary components for engineering and production builds.
- Ordering essential consumables and tools required for shop operations.
- Coordinating shipments from the manufacturing facility to various destinations.
- Conducting mandatory inspections and maintenance on equipment such as hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Supporting assembly and disassembly processes.
- Assisting with inspections and operational tasks.
- Taking ownership of specific tests to ensure balanced workload management.
Educational Background:
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with 8-10 years of experience in engineering or production roles.
Essential Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in navigating ordering and scheduling systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
