The Product Development Excellence, Quality and Cost team at Saxon Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve product development success by providing applications and training that enable product groups to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with internal teams and practitioners to develop, deploy, train, and support users on processes and tools.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams located globally to understand their requirements, document those, and work with IT to develop enhancements for the tools.
• Collaborate with process and application owners in various projects to highlight insights related to product development application usage, deployment, and other areas.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis, data processing, and data visualization to support business decisions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, with no experience necessary.
• Motivated self-starter with strong technical skills and a desire to learn and develop leadership skills.
• Practical, working knowledge of Product Development and Quality.
• Good coaching and communication skills, with the ability to build cooperative working relationships with a wide range of audiences.
• Efficient time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge/experience in product development standards.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Lean Manufacturing would also be beneficial.
Preferred Skills
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, with knowledge of 6 Sigma tools and techniques.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Lean Manufacturing would also be beneficial.
