Job Summary

Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Full-time Crew Leader to join the Energy Environmental Services Department and team. This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career in a well-established organization while also making an impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Crew Members: Oversee/supervise/assign work to crew members, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform Safety Procedures: Comply with and practice safety procedures and guidelines in accordance with PACE and Cal OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance Inspections: Inspect measures installed by crew members for quality, accuracy, and compliance with guidelines.
  • Manage Field Materials: Ensure that all field materials released for the day are used and unused materials' tally equals the total materials released for the day.
  • Complete Technical Field Reports: Analyze and collect data, perform mathematical calculations, and complete technical field reports.
  • Communicate with Clients and Supervisors: Effectively communicate with clients and supervisors to promote program goals and benefits and explain work being performed if asked.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent, AA degree desirable.
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience with hands-on installation and quality assurance inspection work in construction/weatherization field as well as being a supervisor or crew leader for at least two years.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer skills to perform energy audit programs and other functions, ability to analyze and collect data, and perform mathematical calculations.
  • Certifications: Must possess Basic Weatherization, Combustion Appliance Safety, Blower Door and Duct Blaster Training California certificates, a plus.
