Key Responsibilities:
As a Process Engineer, you will engage your analytical skills and collaborate with a team dedicated to innovation. Your contributions will include:
  • Driving safety enhancements and spearheading cost and efficiency improvements through Continuous Improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Offering technical assistance and troubleshooting support in daily operations to achieve production goals, including availability during off-hours as necessary.
  • Leading manufacturing initiatives on designated product lines, which encompasses communication of corrective measures to enhance customer satisfaction, maintaining process documentation, and managing changes to boost understanding and reduce variability.
  • Working closely with local and divisional technical teams on projects aimed at refining manufacturing processes.
  • Effectively communicating project updates and directions to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, 3M requires the following minimum qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Additional qualifications that may enhance your success in this role include:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, industrial, manufacturing, or chemical engineering.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in data science or statistics within a manufacturing context.
  • Familiarity with technology, PLCs/control systems, automation, robotics, or mechatronics.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, organizational skills, and knowledge of process control and statistics.
Work Environment:

This position is based onsite.

Travel Requirements:
May involve up to 5% domestic or international travel.

Relocation Support:
May be available.
