Position: Salesforce Developer

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 24-month contract (with potential for conversion)

Compensation: $64/HR

As a Salesforce Developer, you will leverage your extensive expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem to design and implement tailored solutions. Your role will involve utilizing various Apex codes, triggers, Lightning web components, and API integrations to define data flows and enhance business capabilities within the Salesforce Application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support in planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining software solutions that align with customer needs based on business requirements.
  • Create customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support essential business functions and achieve project objectives.
  • Document, design, develop, test, train, and deploy high-quality business solutions for Salesforce and integrated applications/databases.
  • Develop Apex classes, controllers, triggers, custom Lightning web components, and other applications to fulfill operational enhancements and automation goals.
  • Design and build optimized, high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex/Lightning code following best practices.
  • Stay updated on new Salesforce features and functionalities, providing recommendations for process improvements as necessary.
  • Configure and manage Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, custom objects, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, custom workflows, and approval processes.
  • Collaborate independently with business leaders, subject matter experts, end users, and vendors to establish and document technical requirements.
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
  • Facilitate the transition of users from Salesforce Classic to Lightning and manage upgrades.
  • Log and track service requests and incidents, including message handling, resolution tracking, and problem escalation.
  • Utilize various resources to resolve inquiries and issues, including collaboration with consultants and user groups.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution, or relevant technical experience.
  • Extensive technical experience in Salesforce, with a focus on implementing business capabilities and programming experience or certifications, particularly in Salesforce Lightning or Classic.
  • Consultant-level knowledge of Salesforce, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and ERP or other Cloud Solutions.
  • Proficiency in Apex Code, web components, APIs, and/or RFC connections.
  • Understanding of relational Salesforce database management.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce Developer Certification.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming (Apex code, Lightning web components, flows, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of or experience in the Electric and Gas Utility Industry.
