Security Officer

This is a high-profile security position that requires a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to protecting people and property. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned locations, providing a safe and secure environment for clients, visitors, and personnel.
You will be expected to respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level, up to and including armed response, as dictated by the situation and protocol. Additionally, you will assist in preserving order, enforcing regulations and directives, and controlling access to client sites and facilities.

Key Responsibilities- Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned locations
- Provide a safe and secure environment for clients, visitors, and personnel
- Respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level
- Assist in preserving order and enforcing regulations and directives
- Control access to client sites and facilities
- U.S. Citizenship preferred
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of Armed Security/Law Enforcement experience or two years of honorable service with the US Armed Forces
- Ability to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for armed security work
- Ability to meet and continue to meet certification requirements for Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid from American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
This role requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. You may be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area. You will be required to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level.
You may be required to work overtime without advance notice and may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear.
