This is a full-time position with hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, eligible for shift differentials.
We are seeking experienced Surgical Technologists specializing in cardiovascular procedures, with a minimum of one year of experience in cardiac and open-heart surgery. Our Surgical Technologists play a vital role as part of inter-professional teams in hospitals and clinics, committed to delivering outstanding patient care through their expertise and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and evaluate care for patients undergoing diagnostic and invasive surgical procedures.
- Keep the perioperative team informed about procedural needs and progress.
- Identify complex patient needs by reviewing procedure protocols and assessing physical requirements.
- Prioritize procedural processes and supplies for specialized patient groups.
- Plan surgical procedures based on the identified needs of both the surgeon and the patient.
- Utilize appropriate standards of care and collaborative clinical pathways to guide the care plan.
- Determine necessary equipment, materials, and resources for patient procedures.
- Participate in cost containment activities and manage supply levels effectively.
- Complete hospital and department orientation programs and attend educational sessions to enhance knowledge in specialty areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent training.
- Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred.
- Two years of multispecialty experience.
- Ability to function as a clinical expert in at least one service line and float to other service lines as needed.

- Complex GYN
- Complex Ortho/Spine
- ENT
- General Surgery
- Ophthalmology (Corneal; Retina Cell transplants)
- Robotics
- Thoracic and Vascular
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association is required.
