Customer Service Manager

The Call Center Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting our call center team by providing exceptional customer service to patients and physicians. This includes handling escalated calls, leading operations, and working with administrative and clinical staff to continuously improve call center performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight to call center staff ensuring they meet organizational procedures.
- Handle escalated calls from call center staff promptly and effectively.
- Lead call center operations, collaborating with administrative and clinical staff to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with organizational procedures for scheduling and patient information management.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including billing information, as required by medical professionals.
- Monitor calls regularly to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Assume direct responsibility for answering high-volume calls during peak times.
- Send necessary information to patients and referring providers efficiently.
- Retrieve external medical reports and maintain patient records accurately as per medical requirements.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, coupled with relevant experience in healthcare call centers.
- Prior supervisory experience is highly valued.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, including effective listening, verbal, and written communication, problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to master multiple software systems for data input and retrieval.
- Familiarity with ophthalmology and retina terminology is essential.
