We are seeking a skilled Parts Specialist to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our sales and service branch, you will be responsible for receiving, handling, and storing parts, as well as performing system transactions and dispatching parts to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect parts for damage and discrepancies
- Perform system transactions and dispatch parts to customers
- Manage stock levels and perform inventory management tasks
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery
- Develop positive relationships with internal and external customers
- Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and intermediate level computer skills
- Ability to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally and wear required personal protective equipment
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience
- This position does not require any Department of Transportation (DOT) related pre-screenings
