FullHR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support the daily operations of our Charlotte office.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.


Responsibilities:
Facilitate and coordinate client payroll submission by preparing and processing payroll and associated information, collating and verifying data, and inputting into the payroll system.

Update payroll records, process routine changes to employee records, perform basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle, respond to pay-related inquiries, research and resolve errors or omissions, and prepare and submit reports and forms required by regulatory bodies.
Follow all processing procedures, adhere to policies, and maintain confidentiality. Reports to a supervisor and works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of Communication, Payroll, and Client Business requirements.

Field inbound communications by answering phone calls and general email inquiries and routing to the appropriate internal parties as needed. Coordinate scheduling by setting up client training meetings based on cross-functional availability for both internal and external stakeholders. Communicate policies and procedures by alerting clients and employees of banking holidays, new processes, rules, and regulations.
Advance to Full-Time after solidifying expertise and great opportunities are available.

Requirements:
Associate diploma or greater, 1-2 years experience as a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Assistant preferred, strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and Word), proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, positive, high-energy attitude, resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set, familiarity with office equipment, and at least three years experience in the industry of Insurance, Payroll, Human Resources, and/or Benefit Enrollment.
