Join Our Team as Insurance Risk Manager

We are seeking a talented Insurance Risk Manager to join our team at Aspida Financial Services LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for managing insurance risk, including developing and maintaining annuity product calculation engines, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create and improve product validation tools, utilizing your expertise in Excel, VBA, R, or Python. If you are a results-driven individual with a passion for risk management, we encourage you to apply.

This is a salaried, full-time position offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role
  • Manage insurance risk, including developing and maintaining annuity product calculation engines
  • Create and improve product validation tools using Excel, VBA, R, or Python
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

  • Actuarial credentials or data scientist with strong quantitative background
  • Technical understanding of annuity products (fixed and fixed indexed annuities)
  • Expert attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
