Role Summary:

As the Chief Technology Officer, you will leverage your technological insight and innovative mindset to advance our mission of improving higher education. Your responsibilities will include developing a strategic technology roadmap, enhancing our online membership platform, and ensuring our internal systems facilitate smooth operations. You will lead a talented development team, promote cross-departmental collaboration, manage daily IT activities, and steer technology initiatives that elevate our influence on academic leaders and institutions.

  • Direct the development team in establishing and implementing strategies for launching new features and improving the online user experience for our membership platform and e-commerce capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-departmental teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to prioritize features and deliverables.

  • Applicable knowledge of data security best practices (e.g., Cloudflare, firewalls).

Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in a senior leadership role within the technology field for at least 10 years, with a proven track record in strategic planning, team management, and driving technology initiatives at a senior level.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, marketing, and other departments, to deliver innovative technology solutions that align with organizational goals and enhance the user experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the education or academic sector or previous experience working in a similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
