Overview

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a seasoned technology leader to serve as the Regional Chief Information Officer for the Mountain Region. As a key member of the IT and Region Executive teams, this individual will be responsible for ensuring that technology is a source of competitive advantage in the region.

The Regional CIO will lead the strategy development for the region's top technology needs, working closely with the SVP Chief Technology Officer and CIO. This includes developing, coordinating, guiding, and executing IT systems and operational plans to optimize the use of technology and digital in support of the clinical/patient-focused mission and business strategy.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Develop and implement region-specific IT strategies to drive consumer-focused integrated care and improve cost effectiveness, healthcare service quality, and business development opportunities.
  • Partner with national service delivery leaders to manage the local technology environment according to negotiated and established service levels and in accordance with enterprise standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure standardization of systems and processes within the region to maximize utilization, cost reduction, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a region-wide business recovery plan.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with IT suppliers and maintain knowledge of current technology, equipment, prices, and terms of agreements to minimize the investment required to meet established service levels.

Leadership

  • Ensure seamless value delivery by evangelizing, owning, and driving digital, application, and infrastructure enterprise and local initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure and staffing model, capable of supporting the business and operational needs of the facilities within the region.
  • Demonstrate effective financial stewardship by developing and contributing to annual capital and operating budgets for region IT operations and the strategic road map.
  • Oversee the ongoing development, delivery, and operations of the products and services road map.
  • Monitors IT activities and costs related to the utilization of resources required to meet programmatic operational requirements.
  • Create one inspired team by proactively fostering commitment to one cohesive IT team and CommonSpirit ministry.
  • Create a culture obsessed about the consumer, experimentation, empowerment, and agility while ensuring that the IT organization is keenly focused on providing an exceptional employee and consumer experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of experience in executive IT leadership in a healthcare environment. They will have a deep understanding of a broad range of technologies and the mastery of applying technology to deliver differentiated value to CommonSpirit's consumers, patients, physicians, clinicians, and employees.

Pay Range

$92.88 - $130.04 /hour
