Position Overview:

As a Junior Environmental Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting environmental initiatives and projects. This position involves providing comprehensive environmental assistance from the initial concept phase through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of design plans and identify necessary deliverables.
  • Gather and assess data across various disciplines, proposing effective technical solutions.
  • Organize and research raw data, utilizing recognized analytical tools for a detailed review.
  • Create graphics and reports for specific project segments or smaller-scale initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and presenting project materials, concepts, and reports to stakeholders and community groups.
  • Participate in project team meetings, documenting minutes and correspondence related to project scope.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Engineering, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software with guidance from senior staff.
  • Ability to compile and summarize various data types, including ecological and land use data.
  • Basic understanding of environmental regulations and laws.
  • Strong technical writing skills, utilizing templates to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Contribute to environmental review documents and assist in report preparation under supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
