We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Imaging Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing and running CT scans, setting image parameters, and maintaining a clean and safe CT environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and run CT scans for canine and feline patients, following clinician orders and guidelines.
- Set image parameters and patient positioning to ensure optimal image quality.
- Work independently or under the guidance of clinicians to modify scan techniques as needed.
- Review medical records and understand patient care requirements for image requests.
- Maintain a clean and safe CT environment, restricting personnel access and disinfecting between patients.
- Perform routine CT quality assurance and report any concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay current with CT trends through continuing education and certification.
- 1+ years of hands-on CT experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.
- Positive outlook and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
