Financial Risk Management Specialist

Job SummaryDexian is seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Officer to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for calibrating liquidity limits and triggers, identifying key risks, and analyzing financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Liquidity Management and business leads to complete the annual recalibration of liquidity limits.
- Identify key risks by product or business area and quantify the amount of risk that can be accepted.
- Analyze financial statements for both Dexian and peer banking institutions.
- Review banking regulatory requirements and establish metrics to set boundaries relative to regulatory guidelines.
- Develop rationale to support calibration of thresholds and clearly outline methodology and conclusions in written memos and PowerPoint presentations.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience (~10 years) in liquidity management with knowledge of balance sheet composition.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of liquidity risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- The ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, funding instruments, and liquidity metrics.
