Risk Management Specialist

The Risk Management Specialist serves as the primary contact for clients, providing world-class client service, technical expertise, and proactive risk management. This role is a key part of our team at Baldwin Risk Partners, where we strive to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Service: Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating and evaluating client needs, responding to client questions and issues, and ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Risk Assessment: Review client exposures, underwriting memos, loss experience, and current coverages to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Advisory Services: Advise and counsel clients on complex risk exposures, providing expert guidance on risk management strategies and solutions.
- Claims Management: Review inspection reports for accuracy, identify potential loss prevention issues, and provide proactive direction to resolve claims.
- Renewal Proposals: Create and present private risk management renewal proposals and agendas to existing clients, conducting annual interactive reviews as needed.
- Business Development: Cultivate strong relationships with insurance company partners, staying up-to-date on insurer contracts, requirements, and attributes.
- Accuracy and Timeliness: Maintain a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and completion when interacting with clients, the firm, and insurance company partners to minimize potential errors and omissions claims.
- Market Placement: Serve as a market placement specialist, remarketing existing programs to ensure we are keeping pace with client needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Remain up-to-date on industry offerings and make proactive recommendations to clients.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, looking for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes.
- License: Current Florida 2-20 License (or state equivalent), as required by the State Department of Insurance, or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment.
- Education: College degree preferred, and professional designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC) a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in personal insurance, including insurance company contracts and guidelines, proprietary insurer systems, and claim knowledge.
