ROLE OBJECTIVE:

The Retail Sales Consultant is instrumental in assisting Management to foster a sales-driven atmosphere centered around customer satisfaction and product excellence. Our foundational values steer all store operations to guarantee an outstanding customer experience and maximize profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performance Orientation
  • Meet company sales objectives by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product insights with customers; recommending items based on their preferences.
  • Stay updated on current promotions; maintain pricing integrity and visual presentation standards.
  • Ensure excellence in product handling, display, and loss prevention, adhering to Management's guidance.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, including monthly store layouts and area upkeep.
Customer Engagement
  • Embody and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, providing a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Facilitate efficient and swift checkout processes, remaining informed about payment policies, returns, security protocols, and store operations.
  • Influence purchasing decisions at checkout, achieving targets for additional sales such as gift cards.
  • Enroll customers in loyalty initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a loyal customer base through personalized service and styling expertise.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of current product lines and styles both in-store and online.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients using the customer book.
Operational Excellence
  • Assist in replenishment efforts to ensure a well-stocked store.
  • Support order fulfillment processes.
  • Participate in visual merchandising tasks such as floor rearrangements, window displays, and signage placement as directed.
  • Help uphold boutique cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Development
  • Encourage inclusive teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Pursue personal development opportunities and actively seek constructive feedback.
Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. This role may involve working across various brands, with slight variations in responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Comfortable with learning and adapting to company-provided technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and Management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet company goals. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Regular walking/standing throughout the work shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. during 1-33% of the work shift.
  • Frequent climbing from 34% to 66% of the work shift.
